Our client produces high strength injection moulded parts for a range of applications.

The role of the Quality and Process Engineer is to primarily assist in the production of quality products, made within the most cost efficient and timely manner. Responsible for the implementation of new products into the business and maintaining and improve production of high quality products. To address quality issues and improvements. Co-ordinating with internal and external customers and suppliers. Maintaining quality control and system requirements.

Your duties include but are not limited to:

• Advance data analysis and synthesis

• Report on operations and activities of an organisation

• Perform quality assurance and compliance activities

• May write, present papers reports

• Communicates with operational and functional leaders

• Reads and interprets professional materials

• Develop policies, procedures, or methodologies based on facts or knowledge; or interpret or apply established policies.

Skills and Experience required: 

Industry Exposure: Demonstrated experience and understanding of manufacturing processes and systems.

-Demonstrated knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001

Software & Systems: Competent in relevant systems eg Pronto and MRP, Just in time.

-Demonstrated use of problem solving tools and techniques

Tertiary Qualifications: Quality Systems, Engineering or a related discipline, Certification in auditing management systems or related field.

Tolerance for Stress: Maintaining stable performance under pressure.

Analytical: Able to critically examine various data and make sound conclusions and recommendations. Understanding of statistical process control techniques.

Team Work: Works cooperatively with others and ensures team effectiveness.
