Planner/Scheduler

  • Based in the Western Suburbs

About the Role

This role is responsible for all aspects of traffic management planning in accordance with legislation, company specific policies and procedures and relevant Standards for a broad range of clients and environments.

You will also be responsible for assisting receiving and entering all client job bookings onto the system & and assisting in assigning traffic controllers and assets to each of those bookings.

The role requires a high degree of experience within the traffic management industry and a solid understanding of the Code of Practice and Australian Standard. Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment is essential. 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage all MOA and permit approvals with Vic Roads and relevant government bodies
  • Design and implement Traffic Management Plans (TMPs & TGSs) for sites that require traffic management
  • Manage all permit applications and requirements in a timely manner
  • assist in Managing job bookings and the scheduling of staff and vehicles

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year Traffic Planning experience
  • Experience in scheduling work and rostering of people and resources.
  • Traffic Management Design Qualification RIICWD503E – Prepare Traffic Management Plans and Traffic Guidance Schemes
  • Current Traffic Control License RIIWHS302D & RIIWHS205D
  • Work Safely in the Construction Industry – White Card
  • Knowledge of invarion
  • Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities
  • Be Safety Conscious
  • Work within a Team Environment
