Workforce International are partnered with a well known Aluminum Manufacturer in the Hunter region who are looking for an experienced Mechanical Technician.

• Daily equipment maintenance to ensure that it is serviceable and ready to use.
• Ensuring all machines are compliant with NSW legislation.
• Conduct minor and major overhauls as required 
• Monitoring and ordering spare components to assure their availability
• Controlling any hazards and risks on site
• Conducting daily inspections of all mechanical areas situated in the factory.

To be considered for these opportunities you will:

• Have a qualified mechanical apprenticeship or similar recognised qualification gained from a heavy industry mechanical background.
• Sound Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience
• Experience with implementation and maintenance of TPM program's 
• Must have own transport
• The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol test 
• Strong focus and commitment to Safety with the ability to follow Policies and Procedures 
• Be able to work efficiently within a team environment
• Be able to complete tasks to high quality while working to a deadline
