Unilever- Streets Ice Cream, based in Minto is an iconic brand name company that produces Australia's favourite ice creams & ice blocks.

They are seeking experienced Machine Operators to join their team ASAP. Streets produce Australia’s favourite ice creams and ice blocks.

About the position

They currently have vacancies for experienced Machine Operators to commence ASAP on a flexible part time permanent basis in their Production facility. This is a chance to get your foot in the door of a global organisation.

To be successful for this role you would need to commit to working a 3-week rotating roster covering day and night shifts- 12-hour shifts. Average weekly hours during the In season is 40 hours and 33 minutes.

Duties Include:

• Operation of multiple Machines within the production area (Conveyors, hoppers, packers, process machinery)
• Operating high speed packaging machines
• Line Setting and working with the technical line leaders- resetting machines and change overs
• Working through production issues and product faults with team members
• Maintaining high levels of communication with team members
• Manual loading or unloading of product from the production line
• Packing products in cartons and other packaging
• Quality check of products
• General cleaning duties

REQUIREMENTS

• Prior experience within a production environment
• Experience in Machine operation, ability to run a line and reset machinery
• Excellent communication skills along with a high understanding of numeracy
• Ability to work well within a small team
• Must be available for 12 hours shifts 7 days a week, rotating roster which covers day and night shifts

• All successful candidates will undertake a medical, drug and alcohol assessment prior to starting
