About the position:

They currently have vacancies for experienced Fitters - Technical Line Leads to commence immediately on a permanent basis in their Production facility. These positions offer many benefits that are summarised below.

To be successful for this role you would need to commit to working a rotating 12 Hour shift roster covering day and night shifts.

The Technical Line Leads are responsible for the operation, maintenance, improvement and repair of equipment to support production, safety and quality goals.

Duties Include:

• Operate, maintain, improve and repair equipment in a timely manner utilising operators, other trades and engineering resources to meet production targets.
• Conduct changeovers, repairs and adjustments
• Escalate required maintenance to maintenance leadership for scheduling
• Apply pneumatic principles to fault finding and repairs
• Monitor and evaluate the condition of equipment
• Utilise all appropriate safety and environment procedures
• Reduce environmental impacts and costs
• Monitor quality against set standards
• Actively contribute to mechanical and continues improvements

Requirements:

• Hold an Australian Trade Certificate
• Demonstrate previous experience in a similar role
• Ability to work in a team and individually
• Have a good Work ethic
• Be available for 12-hour Day and night shifts over a rotating roster,
• Excellent communication skills along with a high understanding of numeracy
• Ability to work well within a small team
• All successful candidates will undertake aptitude testing, medical, drug and alcohol assessment prior to starting
