Workforce International currently seeking multiple skilled boilermakers for an upcoming shutdown in the Lower Hunter Valley area, the shut down is from 04/09 till approx 20/09. You will be required to pass a weld test (Weld test will be a 3G and 4G test on 25mm Bisaloy 80 plate in the overhead and Vertical up positions with FCAW wire)

Qualifications/Skills

• Wide experience in performing welding for boilermaker maintenance 
• Profound knowledge of the Steel Fabrication Industry
• Operational knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Familiarity with safety policies and procedures
• Proficient with welding techniques
• Immense ability to interpret drawings and plans
• Ability to manage apprentices and educate
• Ability to resolve technical problems
• Operated electric, gas, arc and other welding equipment effectively
• Operated cranes and forklifts to transfer heavy materials (not essential)
• Performed welding in flat, vertical and overhead positions
• Avoided warping, shrinking, expansion and distortion of materials
• Identified problems during welding and adjust speed and amperage accordingly

• Relevant Trade qualifications
• Must have a current White Card
• Must be able to pass Weld Test
• Must be fit and healthy
• Be able to work in a team environment
