Working for a reputable Steel distributor our client is looking for an experienced Storeperson forklift operator with MR Licence, to assist in the daily stores operation in the distribution of stainless steel, and deliveries of steel, if required.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, duties and responsibilities will be:

• Storeperson experience, with steel preferred
• Operating forklift - experience with long loads preferred
• Picking and packing
• Manual handling 
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Assisting in Goods Inwards & Outwards physically and using the computerised system
• General warehousing duties including tidying and stock take
• Ensuring a clean and safe working environment
• Delivery and pick-up of goods around Brisbane, only if required

Skills and qualifications required are:

• Current forklift licence
• MR truck licence
• Driving experience with load restraining
• Computer literacy
• Excellent people and communication skills
• Problem-solving and dispute resolution skills

The successful applicant will be self motivated with a Safe CAN DO work attitude. We are looking for a Team player who is flexible, reliable and punctual. 

Our client is offering a long term temp - perm position for the right person, working Monday - Friday, 38 hours per week.
