Our client located in Prestons is a highly recognised Manufacturer and Distributor of steel reinforcing bars and mesh to the civil and residential industries.
We are seeking x3 experienced Machine Operators to become part of their team at Prestons - We have day and afternoon shifts currently available.
The site operates 24/5.
Shift Times:
- Afternoon shift: 1.00pm - 9.00pm
To be considered for this position you will need to have experience in the following areas.
- Steel industry experience is a MUST
- Machine Operating
- Hand tool experience
- Assembly experience
- Loading and unloading mesh and steel products
- Overhead crane experience desired but not essential
- Able to work Shift work
- Setting up production machines
- Must be able to undertake heavy lifting
- Good communication skills
- Working in a small team environment
- Own transport highly regarded
- Forklift licence
