Our client, located in Ingleburn, is a lead producer of fast-moving consumer goods.
With extensive mixing, filing and warehousing capabilities to cater for a wide range of product formats, the factory specialises in the manufacturing of Aerosol and Liquid products for use in personal care, therapeutic, industrial and household categories for the domestic and export market.

About the Position
Workforce International is currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join the team on the day, afternoon and night shifts. To be considered for this role you must be available for 5 days per week.

The hours required:
Dayshift: 7.15am - 3.35pm - $27.68 per hour
Afternoon: 3.35pm - 11.55pm - $31.00 per hour
Night: Sunday through to Thursday night: 11.55pm - 7.15am - $34.32 per hour

This is a great opportunity for an ASAP start within a busy team.
It is essential that you have prior experience within a comparable forklift role that demonstrates exposure to Warehouse and Production settings.
The role requires a team player with the ability to execute tasks and assignments with a high level of accuracy to meet deadlines, whilst ensuring production needs are met in a coordinated effort with team members.
Responsibilities
• Complete Forklift Pre-start Checklists.
• Complete forklift battery changes and maintain battery water levels.
• Maintain forklifts in a clean and respectable manner.
• Set up production lines with components to a GMP acceptable level.
• Scan components to and from the production lines correctly.
• Complete Manual Stock Control Sheets when scanning accuracy is not possible.
• Wrap pallets of finished goods as per OPL standards.
• Apply SSCC dockets correctly to finished goods pallets as required.
• Move Finished Goods to the Warehouse adhering to DG store requirements.
• Return components to the Warehouse in a GMP acceptable state.
• Plan changeovers from the Production Board, checking for any changes after board meetings.
• Assist in Stock takes when necessary.
• Relocate pallets.
• Set up and remove rework.
• Clear the production floor of any items not required.
• Tie down and remove empty cartons/dividers for return to the supplier.
• Empty the blue Visy cardboard recycling bins in a timely manner.
• Make sure the Production floor is clear of debris at all times
• Make sure the Emergency exits are clear of pallets.
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years recent and regular experience on the forklift within a warehouse and production environment
  • Must be competent to undertake a 3-week training program requiring testing modules, practical assessment and observation
  • Show confidence in operating counterbalance forklifts in racks of 4-5 rows high
  • Possess RF Scanner experience, with 100% accuracy
  • Be able to withstand a fast-paced environment with many lines to service, and continuous format changes
  • Can demonstrate team work and high level communication skills
  • Must be able to work 5 days per week, overtime may be required at times.
  • Be confident with lifting 15kg-20kg comfortably when required
  • Own transport is preferred, carparking is available onsite
