Civic And Community Facilities Officer (Facilities Management/Building Services)

We require committed & professional candidates who are process driven to support our clients’ business needs at one of their sites based in Melton.

The successful candidate would be required to work every Saturday & Sunday from 8:00am to 11:00am and all Public Holidays.

The role will include, however not limited to the duties listed:

  • Undertake the day to day operations of facilities including reservation management, quality inspections, stock control, room set up, user training / inductions and relevant performance measurement and associated reporting.
  • Provide input into the development and implementation of best practice operational policies, procedures and systems relating to pre and post hire and building management operations of facilities.
  • Undertake proactive measures that ensure assets are maintained in a condition that meets customer needs and creates a sense of pride of place through their appearance and function.
  • Utilise effective marketing tools to maximise promotion, awareness and occupancy of facilities and their associated services and activities.
  • Engage effective communication with internal and external customers to strengthen relationships with tenants that supports their use and builds community participation, asset activation and positive engagement of communal public spaces.

 

 

Requirements: 

  • Secondary school certificate with substantial experience in the provision of customer service and or administration functions.
  • Experience in maintaining administrative systems and sound skills & knowledge of Microsoft Software Applications.
  • Ability to show initiative, innovation and creativity when approaching all aspects of the position.
  • Proven time management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and organise work activities to manage ongoing requests for action or information from customers.
  • Able and willing to work in a strong team focused environment.
