Our client in the North, has a new opportunity for a Bushland Management Officer for works around the Whittlesea council region.

The ideal candidate will come with a strong work history in conservation and land management and possess an impeccable Safety record. Only experienced applicants who show a passion for our natural parklands will be considered.

Role:

• 7am - 3pm Monday to Friday
• Planting, pruning, weeding
• Identification of indigenous plants and weeds
• collection of indigenous plant seed
• brushcutting and hedging
• Pest control
• General maintenance
• Observe OH&S standards
• Work in all weather conditions
• data collection

Requirements:

• Certificate III or IV in Conservation Land Management
• Experience in weed and pest control
• Ability to identify plant species 
• Some Plant Operator experience
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Victorian Driver's licence
• Strong customer service skills
