Workforce International are partnered up with one of Australia’s leading underground coal mining contractors. This company services a variety of different mining equipment- continuous miners, shuttle cars, drift runners, loaders & a lot more. They are looking for a qualified and experience boilermaker to join their Lake Macquarie workshop team in an on going capacity starting immediately in 2021!

• Excellent pay rates
• Casual position, min 38 hrs per week
• 5 day per week
• Day Shift and & Arvo shift available as required
• Easy travel from Newcastle, Central Coast & Lower Hunter
• New Workshop
• Repairs, Modifications & new build
• Overhaul Joy 12CM29 Continuous Miner and other underground mining and tunneling equipment.

Must have:

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
• Ability to fabricate Medium to heavy gauge mile steel
• Be able to work from drawings
• Proficient welding all positions
• Happy to work on modifications / repairs and new build
• Ability to work safely, adhering to all safety policies and procedures
• Ability to resolve technical problems
• Ability to work in a team environment

All successful applicant will be require to satisfy a medical that includes a functional capacity assessment and Drug and Alcohol scree prior to be offered employment.
