Workforce International are looking for a Trade Qualified Boilermaker who will be required to perform fabrication and repairs for our client located in Brisbane Western Suburbs (Wacol), QLD.

Hours for this role are on Day shift - 0630 to 3PM Monday to Friday - with overtime required as needed to meet site production requirements. 

Tasks & responsibilities -

• Perform repairs and modifications to portable structures.
• Work independently and autonomously.
• Supervise and mentor trade apprentices.

Qualifications & experience -

• Previous work history and experience welding/fabricating structures.
• Study blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements and complete job to requirements.
• Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock for use in repairs.
• Joining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting and riveting.
• Cleaning and smoothing welds by filing, chiselling and grinding.
• Finishing products by cleaning and preparing for paint.
