Our client in the Bayside region, has a new opportunity for an Assistant Gardener to work for their bayside local council contracts.

The ideal candidate will come with a strong work history in garden maintenance and possess an impeccable Safety record. Only experienced applicants who show a passion for Garden Maintenance will be considered.

Role:

• 6.30am – 2.36pm, Monday to Friday
• Planting, pruning, weeding
• Garden Bed maintenance
• brushcutting and hedging
• Use of blowers
• Pest control
• General maintenance
• Observe OH&S standards
• Work in all weather conditions
• Work in a team

Requirements:

• Certificate II or III in Horticulture (desirable)
• Chemical User Certificate
• Experience in weed and pest control
• Ability to identify plant species 
• Experience in garden maintenance
• Ability to work well in a team
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Must be reliable and pro-active
• Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding duties
