Resource Coordinator - Traffic Control Industry
Workforce Road Services has been providing Traffic Management services for over a decade. Our clients include local authorities, road maintenance providers, large utility/infrastructure companies and major civil engineering contractors.
Our ongoing growth along the North Coast of NSW has created this excellent opportunity for a Resource Coordinator to join our Northern NSW team, based out of our new Ballina office.
The main responsibilities for this role include:
- Timely and efficient allocation of traffic crews, vehicles and equipment to meet client needs
- Liaise with client contacts, internal candidates, and other stakeholders
- Ensure relevant traffic management plans have been received by crews prior to shift commencement
- Maintain the candidate rostering system in line with company compliance standards
- Collect weekly job dockets and submit to payroll for processing
- Assist with the registration and induction of new traffic control workers
- Arrange candidates to attend client specific inductions
- Issue uniforms and PPE as required
- Organise site inspections, tool box talks and vehicle audits as required
- Demonstrate a high focus on Work Health and Safety
- Respond to inbound enquiries and follow-up
- Build and maintain client and employee relationships
- General administration and office duties
To be successful in this role you will require:
- Previous experience in traffic control industry preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A professional and enthusiastic work manner
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent geographical knowledge of the local area
- Current NSW Driver's Licence
- Right to work in Australia
While not essential, it would be highly regarded if you also have:
- Current Traffic Controller and Implement Traffic Control Plans Tickets
- Construction White Card
