Our client is a leader in the provision of infrasturcture and engineering services.

Commencing in approx 2 weeks time, this 10 week project requires experienced linesmen and riggers specifically within the transmission sector.

To be considered you will require previous experience in the following areas, in addition to meeting pre-employment medical checks and relevant VOC statements.

 

  • Winch set-up - Brake set-up - Draw-wire runout
  • Hang pulleys on towers / poles - Tension stringing (conductor runout)
  • Compression joint (mid-span / dead end) - Tension tower works
  • Clamping-in - OPGW Runout / Installation - Work off towers / poles
  • Work out EWP - Work on gondola - Work off Hook-ladders
  • Experience in running out conductor and clamping
  • Transmission power industry experience
  • Associated certificate of competency as an Electrical Transmission Linesperson / Electrical Fitter
  • Tower and pole top rescue
  • Current First Aid Certificate (including CPR)
  • Current valid drivers licence (MR licence advantageous)
  • Ability to work at heights

Due to the short lead time prior to commencent, applicants loacted in Perth are preferred, however applicants from other states will be considered.
